During each IWG workshop, we make an effort to take collaborative notes. We do this for two reasons. First, having one person responsible for capturing every point, idea, and argument raised is not only inefficient, but can inadvertently omit some of the key takeaways from the workshop. Second, collaborative note-taking allows for a more participatory and interactive workshop experience for those present, and those unable to attend the workshop. To that end, the notes are not intended to be perfect, but rather to capture the informal but important conversations that took place during the workshop.
